It was a humid day but we still pushed through with our food cravings and ended up in Silantro.
My foodie friend has already tried the food in this Fil-Mex place and she highly recommends the food here.

The place is located at 75 East Capitol Drive. When you are driving, this place is at the left side when you are coming from Shaw Boulevard and at the right side of the road so you just need to find a parking space like we did.


When we arrived at the place, it was late afternoon but just before 5 pm yet we had to be seated outside before we eventually got in because there were a lot of customers.
 

As you can see, their menu is simple and you just have to pick the food you like. I like the design of their menu, the font and drawings were nice to look at.

They also have fish - Grilled Mahi-mahi - 210 and Grilled Marlin (220)

Sauces ala Mexican style

The sauces were the usual ones to be found in Mexican food places. I liked the white sauce that is garlicy and slightly spicy.

Medio (Double choice of meat) - 95.00 pesos

My friend was a bit hungry so she ordered Tacos in medio size and choose beef as her meat. I tasted it; I liked that it tasted really meaty and flavorful.

Dinamita - 140.00 pesos

We were glad we had dinamita as our appetizer. It was really refreshing to eat the spicy and not so oily dinamita piece. They offer a lot of appetizers that I will try next time. I'm excited to try them :)

You can see how compact the burrito was. It was very tasty and as expecte had that nice smoky flavor.

Our friend arrived late so we left her some food but still ordered the burger which was big with a lot of fries as you can see in the picture.

Pancholon's Burger - 160.00 pesos

I must say that the burger was good even if the place specializes on Mexican food. Thumbs up!

Happy and satisfied customers

Actually, my first impression when I saw the menu was that the food were pricey (worth the price after eating a lot of delicious food)

But don't worry, the food here is really delicious and good for sharing.
The serving size of the meals were really BIG but in actuality, we ate a lot because we ordered a lot.
I would definitely eat in Silantro some time soon and I recommend this to everyone as your Mexican place!
