When Bonchon came to the Philippines, it became famous for its Korean fried chicken. I ate at Bonchon very often that I got to try their other (boxed/combo) meals too.

Ice Lemon Tea

 I really liked their iced tea because it tastes unlike the instant powder tea.

The ambiance in Bonchon is also nice.






I ate this chicken wings way back and it was really good. Bonchon also offers seafood meals which I fortunately got to eat over time.

Ultimate Burger Steak

I've eaten this before when I dined out in Jollibee as I am smiling in this picture taken way back.


I really liked this meal because it was a perfect combination of flavors of meat, egg and a lot of carbs.
The egg is really nicely prepared and tastes good too because its not oily.

I was so hungry that I ordered this again for takeout to eat in the car.




As you can see, the meal looks delicious enough to make you want to eat it. The patty is thicker than the usual burger steak meal and I finished my rice in an instant.

The egg and mashed potato was a good addition. This Jollibee meal is worth trying when you want to eat something heavy and flavorful. The mushrooms also taste so good!

My friend asked me to accompany her in shopping outfits in H&M Robinsons Magnolia so after using up our energy in choosing what clothes that suits my friend, we wanted to eat something light.
The bright and detailed pictures of the dishes in Yakitori One caught my sight so I suggested to eat here.

The restaurant is located in the food court of Robinson's Magnolia.
I've got no idea about Yakitori One except that I think it sells delicious Yakitori obviously. I ate yakitori before at Eat Fresh Hongkong Famous street food in San Juan and I really liked it.

We shared the food because we wanted to eat light. I wished we ordered more though.

I want to share my first ever post of the foods I've tried before which you may want to try.
I neither like nor dislike breads or pastries, for me, it is just okay to eat but I will not buy it.
On the other hand, my sister is very fond of all sorts of breads. There were some occasions where we had to stay in a place to wait so we ended up at Auntie Anne's. And at that time, I had no background and never heard of this food store at all.

I really liked pretzels after eating them at Auntie Anne's.

I haven't bond with the two of my closest friends in college so we had our bonding/eating session at Yabu (Robinson's Magnolia branch).
 

We had happy chitchats before our orders were served. We enjoyed our long talks since we saw each other a very long time ago.

I was really impressed at Yabu when I got to sit and observe the whole place. I liked that the furniture, lighting, and even the menu (that looks elegant) all fit perfectly to give a great ambiance even before eating.

Condiments

You must crush the sesame seeds on your own as this will be part of your sauce. This kind of experience was very nice because it made waiting for the food pass by quickly (also because we had a lot to talk about). I liked the smell of the sesame seeds being crushed.

A quick picture of my friends before we ate. Both of them ate here before and I was the first-timer yet they wanted to eat here again so I thought it was that good in Yabu.

Bulgogi Brothers is on my wishlist of places to eat in since I have heard it from my friends and read about it. This is one of the few high-end Korean restaurants in the mall because its usually Korean eateries.

The place is not that spacious but the table and seat arrangement are big enough to make you feel comfortable. As you can see in the photo above, they use dim lights to create a cozy feeling as
opposed to fast food chains where it is usually bright. The restaurant is perfect for a private date night for couples as it also gives a romantic vibe.
As part of every Korean meal, side dishes are a must. They serve 3 free side dishes first as usual before the orders finally were served.

From top to bottom: Kimchi, Tofu, Pickled radish

The kimchi tasted really spicy for me which I think is very similar to the ones in South Korea.
I have tried eating kimchi bought from Korean marts and in comparison to the kimchi here, they taste exactly the same. I like the pickled radish which is like the 'atsara'. The tofu tastes good too.

Barley Tea

They serve free Barley tea (staple drink in Korea which serves as their water too) which I really like just like the brown rice tea. It tastes mild and not that bitter as compared to black tea.

After tasting some side dishes, it really made me excited to eat and made me that hungry. When we had our orders, I had to quickly snap pictures as the aroma of the food made me even more hungry. As usual, I ordered too much for the three of us.

We were hungry and couldn't decide where to eat so we just entered the mall, after walking a bit,  I saw the Korean writings of the place and decided that I wanted Korean food again.

You would never expect that an authentic mini Korean food place would be situated near food places that are Mediterranean, Italian etc.



After ordering very quickly, we took group pictures while waiting. The place gives you a cozy home vibe.

It's quite obvious that I looked hungry already in the group picture because I was really hungry.

4 side dishes

We ordered 3 sets with free side dishes. The kimchi here is spicy and seasoned well. That's just my opinion but I think this is one of the best tasting kimchi I've eaten. I just forgot to ask if they sell Kimchi here. I'd probably just go back to ask some time soon
