Months ago, I tried the famous Ramen of Ramen Nagi and I've had quite a great experience.

News about Ramen Nagi have been over food blogs ever since it opened its branches in the Philippines. I have these great expectations about Ramen Nagi and I was not a bit disappointed. We ate at their branch in The Podium mall but they have a few branches spread out in Metro Manila.
A friendly waiter will assist you in ordering your Ramen. You have the option to personalize your bowl of Ramen. You can pick your soup base (richness of taste, special sauce, garlic), which I chose normal. You can add several toppings that you prefer but I choose Tamago (50 pesos). As for the spiciness, I chose to eat a non-spicy one for a change although I'm a fan of spicy foods. The firmness of the noodles I picked was hard because according to my brother as explained to him before, normal-extra soft may be better for kids and elderly. I like to chew and bite my noodles thus hard for me.

I was really excited to try Ramen Nagi's version of Ramen and find out why this is the number Ramen house in Japan for consecutive years. I even wore their paper version of a bib to prevent spills in my clothes if I got to excited to eat and neglect my physical appearance.

They already have 7 branches in the Philippines and a lot more in Japan where they dominated the Ramen industry.
We looked happy even when we were waiting for our Ramen. My anticipation for my Ramen was increasing a lot during the few minutes we waited.

Who would miss seeing this big signage of Pares Retiro at night at the slightly lit street of P. Tuazon near Cubao? I wouldn't miss this. Every time we would pass P. Tuazon, I would always see this Pares Retiro jam-packed with people and crave for pares every time but never got the chance until I suggested that we MUST eat our dinner here after work.
This pares place is located in P. Tuazon corner 17th ave which is near the Ali Mall (Cubao). When you're in Araneta Center Cubao, from Ali Mall, this is a 5 minute jeepney ride or a 5-10 minute walk. It's better to walk in daytime.

When we arrived at past 8 pm, the place had a lot of customers and more customers came in as we finished our meals. I thought to myself that this place is really a best seller even in the wee hours of the day.
They have all the food choices in their menu you can find in a Pares eatery maybe because this Pares is one of the original pares places I think. And they gave us free hot soups after we ordered.

I wanted to make a quick post about Chizza, KFC's latest food invention.
I was glad that when I got off the bus stop near our home, there was a newly opened KFC where I can buy chicken meals for my dad and grandma and Chizza again. I really liked the taste of Chizza and wanted to try it for the second time.

I can say that Book & Borders Cafe is one of the best cafes in Metro Manila, in my opinion, because of five reasons.
2. It has a lot of space for customers. You don't have to worry about finding a seat because there are a lot.
4. The place offers shelves of books to choose from that you can read while in the cafe.
5. It has the comfy
ambiance which I think is the best (out of all the cafes I have tried so far, it'd just me but you can try for yourself) for reading and relaxing after a stressful day. Also, the
staff are friendly and efficient.
I just would like to share probably my favorite cafe in Metro Manila :) Hope you can try to hang out here too.

1. It is highly accessible since it is open everyday most of the day on Mondays to Friday 9 AM to 12 Midnight and
Saturdays and Sundays 7AM to 2 AM.

You must really try their pastas -
pesto and lasagna. Both were cooked perfectly in my opinion. Also, I
think their serving size is for two people so its worth the price. We have been here before only trying the coffee which was good.

An hour-drive from Bangkok is Damnoen Saduak where there are elephants that you can ride in Thailand.
This is our (me and my mom) second time in Thailand but the first time we weren't able to see and ride an elephant so we were all very excited.
When we arrived, I felt the heat when I stepped out of the van. Since we were away from Bangkok city, the weather was really warmer.
There are directions in English in case you get lost.
BTW, Damnoen Saduak is a district in central Thailand in the province Ratchaburi. The central town is most famous because of its floating market held every day till noon on a khlong not far from the district office. (Wikipedia)
Coffee Empire
Not even heavy pouring rain could change our mind from going to Coffee Empire. I often see this cafe as I pass by West Ave. going to Trinoma.
Parking
When we arrived at the cafe, there were a few cars parked at the free parking available at the cafe but during the night when we left, the parking was full. It was nice that parking is available if you brought a car going to this cafe.

Interior
It was nice that we were able to reach the cafe despite the raining and as I quickly entered the cafe, I liked that it was really spacious especially with the high ceiling and the wood walls was a good choice for the interior design of the place; I think this is one of the nicest looking cafes I've been to.
We chose the seats in this bar table area. There are a lot of seats to choose from as you can see below in the pics.
